Ages 10-adult. $65- 45 minutes/$75- 1 hour
***I also offer sliding scale payment on a case by case basis, just let me know your situation as much as you are comfortable with, and we can work out a payment plan that works for both of us.*****
I am interested in music theory and technique equally as much as self expression and musical confidence. My lessons are fun and challenging, and are for the committed lifelong musician and the casual weekend music lover alike. I will teach you the ins and outs of music theory, and all of the nerdy stuff that one student can handle, and then teach you how to forget it all, and go on stage and rock the house down.
***I believe that every person is welcome to enjoy the gift of music no matter their ability, learning style, or other societal factor, (race, gender identity, class, age→ (within my limits)) and will make accommodations for anyone, or find a trusted colleague who can.****
PRAISE from STUDENTS:
Teegan, Mom of Scarlett - age 7
“We have had a magical experience with Celeste from Radiostar Music Lessons. Our daughter really wanted to learn to sing but she was too nervous to sing in front of anyone, easily discouraged, and also neurodiverse. Celeste figured out that my kiddo loves to write stories and used songwriting as a gateway to singing. My daughter was also having a hard time figuring out when her voice was going up or down in pitch so Celeste introduced a music curriculum that incorporates sign language to help to solidify the concept of pitch. I don't think any other teacher would have come up with this combo that is really working for our kiddo 💓 It seems that Radiostar Music hires kind, creative musicians who focus on sharing their love of music, finding unique ways to connect with and support each student, and inspiring them to pursue music as a lifelong passion. We feel truly lucky to have found this company and this teacher. Thank you Celeste!”
Daliah, age 17:
“I have been Celeste’s student for a while now and I'm very happy with my progression in both guitar/ theory and songwriting. I went into these lessons as a beginner and the idea of writing a song on my own seemed completely out of reach and very scary but through this process, I've not only written many songs that I feel proud of but I've also become much more comfortable with performing and getting out of my shell. Celeste shows real interest in everything that I want to work on and puts so much time into making sure I can practice the skills that I want to get good at. They put in time and effort and truly listen to my needs as a student and create a lesson around that. They have created a safe space where I can learn in a non-judgmental environment regardless of the level I'm at and my growth in the last few months both in skill and confidence are definitely very noticeable.”
